Rules and Regulations

Objective:   To promotion the knowledge of the Krav Maga Maor self  defense method.

 

Means:

Training people who are involved in various martial arts to be Krav Maga Maor instructors.

Advanced training programs (summer school) for trainees, which also provide instructors with advanced training.

Establishment of an international framework for sports schools, sports associations, community centers and so on for the teaching of KMM.

 

Organizational Framework:

Directorate: The Directorate is composed of 5 to 7 personally appointed members, and meets at least once a month. The Directorate is responsible for the Center's ongoing activities in the framework of the budget; and for preparing the Activity Report and proposed Activity Plan for the following year, which are presented to the Board.

Board: The Board is composed of the Directorate members and one representative from each geographic area (country or region in large countries). The Board meets once a year to examine and approve the Activity Report and Budget Proposal. Area representatives are elected by the athletes registered in the said area (election arrangements are determined in consultation with heads of the sports associations / sports schools / community centers).

Central Professional Committee: meets at least once a year and is composed of the Center's senior trainers.

Regional Professional Committees: Such committees are composed of the trainers of the various regions and meet upon local initiatives. The Regional Professional Committees deal with issues raised by local initiative and/or issues tasked to the Regional Committee by the Central Professional Committee.

Budget: The Directorate will prepare a budget for the first year, and will present it to the Board members at least one month before the annual Board meeting. The Board will first discuss the financial report for the previous year and then discuss the budget for the coming year. Each year, the Board will prepare a budget based on the financial report for the previous year and on the activity forecast proposed by the Directorate.

    The budget will be based on income from:

          Sports Passports

          Test fees

          Sale of instruction materials (booklets, books, CDs)
