Amos Gilad Born in Czechoslovakia in 1933, immigrated to Israel in 1938. Member of Kibbutz Gonen, located at the foot of the Golan Heights. Graduated with honors from the Technion, as an agricultural machinery engineer. Judo Dan 7. Graduate from and instructor at the National Coaches Course (highest training level in Israel). Coordinated the judo department at the Wingate Institute's Coaches and Instructors School. Scientific coordinator of research and consulting at the Israel Judo Association. Maor Amnon Born in Israel in 1959. Was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in 1977 and served in one of its elite units. Discharged from military service in 1980 and began working with children as a judo and karate instructor. Attended the Wingate Institute and was certified as a qualified instructor in these fields. In 1988, at the onset of the intifada (the Palestinian uprising), Maor joined one of the elite counter-terrorism units of the Israel Police. Throughout his entire service on the police force, Maor was a fighter and developed combat and operational thinking methods for combat soldiers in the field: sharp-shooting, combat in built-up areas, quiet assault, raids and specially adapted Krav Maga Maor for combat soldiers. Amnon Maor has recently begun to establish the Maor Self Defense Center in Israel and abroad, where civilians can learn to defend themselves and where professionals can receive professional information on self defense and combat. |

Gabi Goldenberg Born in Israel in December 1981. Completed his military service in one of the elite units of the Israel Defense Forces as a combat training instructor - sharp-shooting, counter terrorism, quiet assualt, raids and explosives. Currently serves in one of the elite units of the Israel Police as a training officer and also as a senior instructor at the Maor Self Defense Center.

Marcel Zackerman Born in Belgium in 1945. Currently serves as a security consultant to a multinational company on issues of airport security and computerization. Serves as a senior representative of the Maor Self Defense Center in Belgium, Holland and France. E-Mail: Marcel@esm.name

Daniel R.Brass Born in Israel. After his discharge from the Israel Defense Forces, studied law and in parallel began work as a shooting instructor and an international PR-24 (American club weapon) instructor. Completed Kubotan course at lethal Force Institute Member of American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers (ASLET). Member of International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA). Completed Weapon Retention course at Lethal Force Institute. Currently serves as a legal advisor to the Maor Self Defense Center and as an active instructor in the organization.
