Born in Czechoslovakia in 1933, immigrated to Israel in 1938.

Graduated with honors from the Technion, as an agricultural machinery engineer.

Judo Dan 7. Graduate from and instructor at the National Coaches Course (highest training level in Israel).

Coordinated the judo department at the Wingate Institute's Coaches and Instructors School.

Scientific coordinator of research and consulting at the Israel Judo Association.

Senior consultant at the Maor Self Defense Center.

Avi Shirizli, Brigadier General (ret.)

Born in Jerusalem in 1953

After completing his service as a company commander in the infantry brigade of the IDF, he joined the ranks of the Border Police, a division of the Israel Police. He served in the Israel Police from 1976-2009 in a wide range of security positions in various units, most recently as the commander of the Southern District Border Police forces and as commander of the National Training School of Border Police officers and commanders.

Brig.-Gen. Shirizli left his unique mark in a wide range of areas: ·Reorganization of the national system for dealing with agricultural crimes.
·Changing of the operational strategy for improving security along the southern border.
·Upgrading of the instruction, training and development of innovative knowledge in the National Training School of Border Police – which was transferred to other units throughout the police department.
·Developing and crystallizing an operational method for crowd control, using innovative techniques for the efficient treatment of breaching of the peace and events involving unruly crowds. ·Leading the instruction and training of all police units in the above method.
·Distribution of the innovative method and its adjustment to external security organizations (i.e. the Prisons Authority, the IDF and interested bodies abroad).

Maor Amnon

Born in Israel in 1959. Was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in 1977 and served in one of its elite units. Discharged from military service in 1980 and began working with children as a judo and karate instructor.

Attended the Wingate Institute and was certified as a qualified instructor in these fields.

In 1988, at the onset of the intifada (the Palestinian uprising), Maor joined one of the elite counter-terrorism units of the Israel Police.

Throughout his entire service on the police force, Maor was a fighter and developed combat and operational thinking methods for combat soldiers in the field: sharp-shooting, combat in built-up areas, quiet assault, raids and specially adapted Krav Maga Maor for combat soldiers.

Amnon Maor has recently begun to establish the Maor Self Defense Center in Israel and abroad, where civilians can learn to defend themselves and where professionals can receive professional information on self defense and combat.

Erez Vizel

I was born in 1973 in Israel. I joined the army in 1991; I served about four years, then later as a parachute jump instructor and a trainer for parachute instructors. After the military service I worked in the autonomy government agency to prevent smuggling along the border line while I was an undergraduate at Ben Gurion university studying Oriental studies and communication. I learned at the American-Israeli college for Physical Culture: a course for physical fitness instructors, personal trainers and nutrition. In the year 2000 I graduated in Business management for fitness club managers in the Wingate Institute.

Currently director of the health and fitness complex at the Intel factory in Kiryat Gat.

Fitness consultant for organizations and clubs, preparing fitness programs for youth before army service, expert in personal training, Spinning, Kickboxing and Pilates.

Marcel Zackerman

Born in Belgium in 1945.

Currently serves as a security consultant to a multinational company on issues of airport security and computerization.

Serves as a senior representative of the Maor Self Defense Center in Belgium, Holland and France.

Daniel R.Brass

Born in Israel.

After his discharge from the Israel Defense Forces, studied law and in parallel began work as a shooting instructor and an international PR-24 (American club weapon) instructor.

Completed Kubotan course at lethal Force Institute Member of American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers (ASLET).

Member of International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA).

Completed Weapon Retention course at Lethal Force Institute.

Currently serves as a legal advisor to the Maor Self Defense Center and as an active instructor in the organization.

Kiichi Sasayama

Born in 1948

Started with Judo and at the age of 14 he received a black belt, and continued practice by the end of high school.

Received the best University and began practicing karate with the great master Manzo Iwata.

Karate team on behalf of the University Japan champions 3 years in a row.

After graduating he immigrated to Israel, and began to teach Shitoryu karate.

Kiichi Sasayama is also the founder of Shitoryu method of karate in Israel and had raised hundreds of students in Israel.

 In 1998 he returned to Japan and continued to teach karate in his homeland also began to practice Aikido and also learned a traditional treatment method, an autonomous healing.

Since 1998, Kiichi Sasayama continued returning to Israel for courses and Examinations for black belts.

Know day, since 2011, Sasayama was appointed as an international representative of Mitsubishi sub company in Israel and continues to teach karate and autonomous healing.

Gideon Shuba

Born 1972, Israel.

BA, MA in Business administration, cum laude.

Karate Shito-ryu , 5 Dan, 3 Dan Jujitsu. Finished the course for Senior teachers of martial arts at the Wingate Institute

Has been involved in martial arts for about 20 years, 10 of which as Karate teacher.

He directs the large club "Shogun" in Modiin and leads a project for competitive Karate there as well.

Roman Bronstein

Born 1970 in St. Petersburg, Russia.

M.Ed. in education administration, B.Ed. in physical education (Wingate Institute).

Was called up to the IDF in 1997, serving as sergeant for physical fitness and Krav Maga.

Karate 4 Dan, member of the national team and its captain from 1998.

Finished Coaches course for Martial arts at the Wingate Institute.

2^nd place at the European Karate Championships 1993 (Hungary).

10 times national champion in Karate.

Placed 3^rd at the 2006 World Chanpionships (Japan).

Senior instructor at the Border Police and instructor at the competitive Karate project at Modiin.
